The general concept of multi-tasking is to be able to do more than one thing at a time. Now we all know how hard that is. We’ve all heard and seen our devices getting hanged-up & shutting down because of a bit of multi-tasking but iPhone has solved that problem by taking multi-tasking to the next level. With the iPhone, you can now run your favorite third-party applications and switch between them instantly without slowing down the performance of the foreground app or draining the battery unnecessarily. This smarter approach to multitasking is available only in iOS 4.
This new feature in the iPhone allows its users to switch between applications instantly just by clicking the home button and scrolling down the recently used apps. Not only that, the iPhone also remembers where you left off and brings to right back whether it’s reading an article or playing a game. Everybody loves to work while listening to music. Well the iPhone is right up that alley as it allows the user to play audios in the background while doing something else like surfing or playing. Even when it’s about receiving or making calls, the iPhone allows you to do so without having to shutdown the app and also during the call, you can check mails, surf the web while talking.
The iPhone defines the term multitasking and best of all; the battery is not unnecessarily used during this incredible use of multi-tasking feature in the iPhone.
